I have been making art since I was a kid, I spent a little over one year at Parsons School of Design before dropping out, years later I received my BFA in Fine Art from U-Mass, Amherst. HOWEVER, I am self-taught when it comes to Illustration/Design work. I do everything by hand before scanning it onto my computer, from that point on I have a limited understanding of Photoshop. My limited skill set is often enough to complete projects for people, but I like to make sure folks know the skill sets I have and don't have. I hope to someday learn the Adobe program Illustrator but it is not part of my practice yet. "Working with Chelsea is always a rewarding and exciting artistic adventure full of beauty and discovery. She is communicative and timely, and asks great questions to clarify the vision or goal of a project. She brings her spunky brand of honesty, humor, encouragement, and joy to her collaborations, and in my experience she truly wants to create the best possible version of the project together with clients." -Sophie Wood of The Royal Frog Ballet, 2018
"My business wouldn't be what it is without Chelsea. Her illustrations are integral to my brand, and she has been amazing to work with. Whenever I have an idea, she turns my vague descriptions into something better than I could have envisioned myself. Finding her and her art has been such a gift in my life."
-Lauren Murphy of LaLa Earth, 2018
"Chelsea Granger illustrated a beloved creative project of mine. She was communicative and professional, but the illustration that she produced- incorporating the elements of my vision- was magic." -Julia Read, Musician, album art for To a Tune 2018
"Working with Chelsea is a breeze. She understands my aesthetic perfectly and communicates openly and honestly throughout the creative process. I trust her and keep coming back to work with her because she has a fierce integrity to her work. We have a great rapport and I appreciate how timely she is, especially if I am in a crunch. Highly recommend." - Malissa Pansa-ad
